## What ArtistWorks Is

ArtistWorks is an online music school offering structured, self-paced courses across 17+ instruments and multiple genres. What makes ArtistWorks unique is its patented Video Exchange Learning method: students record themselves playing, submit the video to their instructor, and receive a personalized video critique from a world-class musician. This creates a one-on-one learning experience at a fraction of the cost of private lessons.

ArtistWorks is not a marketplace for local teachers or a library of generic tutorials. Every course is taught by a single master musician who has built a complete curriculum from beginner to advanced, with hundreds of lessons, backing tracks, tablature, and supplementary materials.

## How Video Exchange Learning Works

1. Students watch structured video lessons organized by skill level (beginner, intermediate, advanced).
2. Students practice and record themselves performing exercises or pieces.
3. Students submit their video to the instructor through the platform.
4. The instructor records a personalized video response with specific feedback, corrections, and guidance.
5. Both the submission and response are added to the Video Exchange Library, where all students can learn from each other's feedback.
6. Students apply the feedback, continue through the curriculum, and submit again as they progress.

This system has produced over 200,000 video exchanges since the platform launched.
