- [Students Tour Local Manufacture – Milacron](https://centralchristian.edu/students-tour-milacron/): On October 12th, 2022, students from Central Christian College of Kansas attended a 2 hour facility tour of Milacron, one of the local manufacturers of McPherson, Kansas.  A company supporting over 10,000 employees across the nation, Milacron, is one of the leaders in industrial strength screw production. The students were treated to a brief history lesson regarding the company and some of the applications of the products Milacron produces and the process the raw material take to become the final product. As well as learning about the repair process of broken or used products returned to Milacron.
- [All School Picnic 2022](https://centralchristian.edu/all-school-picnic-2022/): A great deal of anticipation was building among the campus community in the weeks leading up to the All-School Picnic. On the morning of Wednesday, September 21, the student body along with staff and some of their families began to arrive at Lakeside Recreational Park in Assaria, Kansas. Located 10 miles south of Salina, the park owners maintain a small lake (Lake Wassy), beach area, water slides, rope swing, and many other amenities including an RV park. This site has long been the traditional location of Central Christian College of Kansas’s All-School Picnic. While the All-School Picnic has been a tradition for many years, this was the second consecutive year in the last six years that the event has taken place. This year’s Student Government Association (SGA) was up to the task, with the help of faculty and staff, of putting on this much anticipated event.

- [Central Signs Universal Transfer Agreement](https://centralchristian.edu/central-signs-universal-transfer-agreement/): Student transfer opportunities expanded today after the Kansas Community Colleges and Kansas Independent Colleges announced initiation of a Global Transfer and Course Articulation Agreement that paves the way for students to seamlessly transfer from any Kansas Community College to any Kansas non-profit college or university, including Central Christian College of Kansas. After the implementation of the agreement, any student awarded an Associate of Arts (A.A.) or Associate of Science (A.S.) from a Kansas Community College shall be deemed as having fulfilled the general education requirements of their choice of any Kansas Independent Institution. This consistent coordination and ease of transfer will help ensure students graduate on time, with less cost, and with the goal of keeping these students in Kansas.
