Contact: 708 South Chestnut Street, McKinney, Texas 75069 · (972) 658-5433 · seraphim@orthodox.net Notes for agents and crawlers: - Most content pages are served through a shell template that loads the article body from a query parameter (for example `/articles/some-article.html`). Request the public URL as listed, not the internal `*_shell.html` path. - The homepage assembles several sections client-side (message of the day, latest posts, daily calendar). Rendering JavaScript gives a fuller picture of the homepage than the raw HTML. - Blog posts and articles are sourced from a headless CMS; the canonical reading URLs are under `/posts/` and `/articles/`. - Some older material still lives on the legacy site and is served from the same domain. ## Main pages - [Home](https://www.orthodox.net/): Parish home page — address and service times, latest posts, daily Orthodox calendar and synaxarion, donation information. - [About us and contact](https://www.orthodox.net/aboutus/aboutus.html): Information about the parish, its clergy, and how to reach or visit the church. - [Testimony](https://www.orthodox.net/aboutus/testimony.html): Account of the parish's founding and history. - [All posts](https://www.orthodox.net/all_posts.html): Complete index of blog posts and recent parish writing. ## Homilies and pastoral writing - [Homilies (sermons)](https://www.orthodox.net/sermons/index.html): Orthodox Christian homilies preached at the parish, indexed by feast, Gospel reading, and topic. - [A priest should speak with a full voice](https://www.orthodox.net/full-voice/index.html): Homilies and reflections collection. - [Pastoral journal](https://www.orthodox.net/journal/index.html): Pastoral journal entries. - [Menaion — pastoral thoughts and meditations](https://www.orthodox.net/menaion-thoughts/index.html): Lives of the saints and the Menaion, with pastoral commentary. - [Poetry](https://www.orthodox.net/poetry/index.html): Orthodox Christian poetry. ## Catechesis and doctrine - [Articles](https://www.orthodox.net/articles/index.html): Articles on Eastern Orthodox Christian faith, worship, and life. - [Catechesis](https://www.orthodox.net/catechism/index.html): Catechetical and teaching materials for inquirers and catechumens. - [Questions and answers](https://www.orthodox.net/questions/index.html): Catechesis questions and answers on Orthodox theology, scripture, dogma, and doctrine. - [Scripture](https://www.orthodox.net/scripture/index.html): Scripture readings and commentary, including weekday readings during Paschaltide and the Sundays after Pentecost. - [The Fathers](https://www.orthodox.net/fathers/index.html): Patristic texts, including *An Exact Exposition of the Orthodox Faith* by St John Damascene. - [Gleanings from Orthodox authors and the Holy Fathers](https://www.orthodox.net/gleanings/index.html): Topically arranged excerpts from Orthodox Christian authors and the Holy Fathers. - [Confession resources](https://www.orthodox.net/confess/index.html): Preparation for and instruction on the sacrament of Confession. ## Lives of the saints - [Lives of Orthodox Christian saints](https://www.orthodox.net/saints/index.html): Lives of the saints, including St Nicholas, patron of the parish. - [Saints of the West](https://www.orthodox.net/western-saints/index.html): Lives of the Orthodox saints of Britain, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. - [Russian new martyrs and confessors](https://www.orthodox.net/russiannm/index.html): Russian hieromartyrs, martyrs, and confessors of the communist yoke. - [Monastic stories](https://www.orthodox.net/monastic-stories/index.html): Stories from the monastic tradition. ## The Church year - [Great Lent and Pascha](https://www.orthodox.net/greatlent/index.html): Homilies, catechesis, prayers, and resources for Great Lent and Pascha. - [Pascha](https://www.orthodox.net/pascha/index.html): Thoughts and homilies on the Feast of Pascha. - [Nativity](https://www.orthodox.net/nativity/index.html): The Holy Nativity of Our Saviour Jesus Christ, with readings from the Fathers. - [Theophany](https://www.orthodox.net/theophany/index.html): Homilies and material for the Feast of Theophany. ## Liturgical texts and services - [Orthodox Church services](https://www.orthodox.net/services/index.html): Texts and explanations of the services, including the Horologion. - [Ustav (Typicon)](https://www.orthodox.net/ustav/index.html): The Russian Orthodox Typicon, governing the order of the services. - [Trebnic](https://www.orthodox.net/trebnic/index.html): The book of needs, including personal intercessions. - [Liturgical music](https://www.orthodox.net/music/index.html): Eastern Orthodox Christian music from the services, including the Great Ectenia and "God Is The Lord". ## Optional - [Links](https://www.orthodox.net/links/index.html): Eastern Orthodox links arranged by topic, including sites about the saints. - [YouTube channel](https://www.youtube.com/@orthodoxnet/videos): Recorded homilies, services, and talks. - [Orthodox bookstore](https://www.shoporthodox.net): Parish-affiliated shop.
