# The Ripon Society

> The Ripon Society is a centrist Republican public policy organization founded in 1962. Named after Ripon, Wisconsin — the birthplace of the Republican Party — it promotes ideas of inclusion, reform, and pragmatic governance. The organization publishes The Ripon Forum magazine, hosts policy events with elected officials and thought leaders, and maintains a Congressional Advisory Board of sitting U.S. Senators and Representatives.
