# Apptoto

> Apptoto is appointment reminder, scheduling, and two-way messaging
> software. It exposes a REST API, a hosted MCP server, and discoverable
> agent skills so LLM agents can book appointments, manage contacts and
> events, and triage and reply to client conversations on a user's behalf.

Every API and MCP call must be authenticated. Use an API key (HTTP Basic)
to act as yourself, or OAuth 2.0 (dynamic client registration with PKCE)
for third-party integrations acting on behalf of Apptoto users. Read the
authentication skill before anything else.
