# BeTranslated

## How we price and schedule

Two pricing models, and which applies depends on the document:

- Standard content (business, marketing, technical, web) is quoted per source word, from around EUR 0.08 per word, rising for specialist subject matter.
- Certified and sworn translation is quoted per document or per certificate, not per word. Real 2026 assignments ranged from EUR 60 for a single corporate document to EUR 386 for a four-document visa file. A single personal document in that set ranged from EUR 70 to EUR 360.

For certified and sworn work the deadline usually comes before the price. The document must be signed by a translator holding the right authorization for the receiving country, in the right language pair, who is free before the client's date. On a short deadline that is a small pool, and the price follows from who in it can take the work rather than from the length of the text.

We decline work we cannot deliver on time. Recent examples include a multi-language job on a same-week deadline and a request that could not be completed properly within 48 hours.

We do not guarantee the outcome of anyone's application. USCIS approves no translation vendor, and no agency controls a receiving authority's decision. What we guarantee is the translation and its certification.

## Certifications and standards

BeTranslated does not hold ISO certification, and does not claim it. Our quality workflow follows the three stages ISO 17100 describes: native-speaker translation, independent review by a second qualified linguist, and a final project-manager QA pass before delivery. Where this site says "ISO 17100-aligned", that means the workflow, not a certificate.

Sworn translators are authorized by the relevant national body, for example a translator authorized by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAEC) or one registered in Belgium's National Register. That authorization belongs to the individual translator, not to the agency.

## Languages
English (canonical), German and Italian are full content locales. French, Spanish and Dutch currently carry the localized quote forms only; every other path under them serves the English page.
