# BikePark Wales

> BikePark Wales is the UK's first and largest full-scale gravity mountain bike park, at Gethin Woodland Centre, Abercanaid, Merthyr Tydfil, CF48 1YZ, South Wales. Over 50 graded downhill and enduro trails served by a minibus uplift, plus pedal access, bike and equipment hire, professional coaching, a cafe, bike shop and free parking.

Think of it as a ski resort for mountain bikers: ride to the top by minibus uplift or pedal up under your own steam, then descend on graded trails from green (beginner) through blue and red to black and pro line. Kermit, the green trail, is the UK's longest beginner descent. The park is roughly 25 minutes north of Cardiff and 10 minutes south of Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park.
