- [Building Sustainable Leadership](https://caul.edu.au/program/building-sustainable-leadership/): The Building Sustainable Leadership Program emerged in 2021 as a refined focus of CAUL's strategic work on sustainability\. It developed as a response to a CAUL Council discussion that highlighted a need to build leadership capability and capacity within CAUL Member institutions, particularly the development of key attributes, including resilience, emotional intelligence, creativity, and problem\-solving\.
- [Enabling a Modern Curriculum](https://caul.edu.au/program/enabling-a-modern-curriculum/): Through the Enabling a Modern Curriculum Program, CAUL prioritised library clients' needs and promoted the success and career readiness of current and future university students and graduates\.
- [Respecting Indigenous Knowledge](https://caul.edu.au/program/respecting-indigenous-knowledge/): In 2020 the CAUL strategy articulated a need to develop a cohesive strategic approach to Indigenous knowledges in university libraries\. In response, the Respecting Indigenous Knowledge Program aimed to embed a culture of respect, responsibility and reciprocity in how libraries work with Indigenous communities\.

- [FAIR and Open Non\-Traditional Research Outputs Project](https://caul.edu.au/project/fair-and-open-non-traditional-research-outputs-project/): This exploratory project explored the role of university libraries in ensuring that FAIR principles are applied to software and other non\-traditional research outputs \(NTROs\) \(e\.g\. film, creative writing, website design\), including areas where there were opportunities to improve or expand practice\. The project also explored how the CARE principles should be applied to these outputs\.
- [Libraries and Open Publishing Case Studies Project](https://caul.edu.au/project/libraries-and-open-publishing-case-studies-project/): This project developed a series of case studies of university libraries’ open publishing initiatives and accompanying researcher case studies that demonstrate the value of these initiatives\. The case studies are useful within and beyond the library sector to support advocacy work and provide examples of open publishing practices from which others can learn\.
- [Enabling a Modern Curriculum with Students as Partners Project](https://caul.edu.au/project/enabling-a-modern-curriculum-with-students-as-partners-project/): This project grew out of the recognition that modern curriculum development needs to move beyond traditional teaching models toward interactive, student\-centred approaches and that university libraries need to adopt similar approaches to support contemporary teaching and learning\. The project explored how university libraries work with students through co\-design processes\. 
- [Open Educational Resources Advocacy Project](https://caul.edu.au/project/open-educational-resources-advocacy-project/): This project developed resources and strategies to support university libraries in advocating for open educational resources \(OER\)\. The work responded to growing interest in OER adoption across Australian and Aotearoa New Zealand universities\. It also addressed a key insight from an earlier survey of CAUL Member institutions that suggested that librarians needed support to move beyond content curation to more strategic OER advocacy\.
- [Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Survey Project](https://caul.edu.au/project/equity-diversity-and-inclusion-survey-project/): The Equity, Diversity and Inclusion \(EDI\) Survey Project was established as a first step in prioritising EDI\. The intention was to fill a gap in the evidence base related to the diversity profile and state of EDI initiatives across the sector in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand so that future activities could be grounded in an empirical understanding of the current state of the sector\.
