# CAS – Cordless Alliance System

> The Cordless Alliance System (CAS) is a cross-brand 18V cordless power-tool platform: one battery pack works across 50+ professional tool brands and 500+ tools. Built on Metabo's 40+ years of battery expertise, CAS lets tradespeople combine batteries, chargers and tools from different manufacturers on one shared 18V standard — reducing cost, weight and clutter. Content is organised by brand and by trade/application (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, metalworking, construction, and more) and is published in 7 languages (en, de, es, fr, it, nl, pl). The English pages under https://cordless-alliance-system.com/en are canonical. CAS is operated by Metabowerke GmbH.
