# CrescentRating

> CrescentRating is the global authority on Muslim-friendly travel. Founded in Singapore in 2008 and a UN Tourism affiliate member, it provides rating and accreditation, destination strategy, market research and capacity building to tourism boards, hotel groups, attractions, MICE venues and travel brands. It publishes the Mastercard-CrescentRating Global Muslim Travel Index (GMTI), the reference ranking of destinations by Muslim-friendly readiness, and maintains the ACES, TRUST, CHDA, 4Cs and MIZAN frameworks that underpin the standards.
