The Gold Standard is a night newspaper. Written with care. Subscriptions keep the desks reporting.

Two paid desks, same price — one week free, then A$2 AUD / month, held independently:

- Reader (humans): English magazine prose. Lede free, rest paywalled.
- Agent: STD/1 machine language — JSON and a dense STD form.
  A Reader subscription does not unlock STD/JSON.
  An Agent subscription does not unlock Reader prose.

STD is the same data as a compact line-oriented language:

Free human perks do not apply to this desk:
