- Pre-fill a human-reviewable cart (Shopify-style permalink): `GET /cart/link?items={SKU}:{qty}` — replaces the cart and redirects to checkout.

Both quote endpoints return a ready-to-send quote with line items, totals, stock/sourcing and live shipping rates for the postcode. `qty` defaults to 1. Purchase orders (Net 30 for approved schools/universities/government): email team@littlebirdelectronics.com.au.

### Public API v1 (stable, read-only, no auth)

A versioned REST API with a published OpenAPI spec. Prefer this over scraping the `.json` pages when building tools — the shape is stable, documented, and CORS-enabled (`Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *`).

### Pagination

All catalogue list endpoints are paginated. Append `?page={n}` (1-based) to walk pages:

- Markdown: `GET /products.md?page={n}` — each page footer links the previous/next/first/last pages, preserving any active `q`/filter params.
- JSON: `GET /products.json?page={n}` — returns a bare array of products (no page metadata); use the Public API below when you need totals or a next-page signal.
- Public API: `GET /public-api/v1/products?page={n}&per_page={1-100}` — returns a `meta` object (`total`, `page`, `per_page`, `total_pages`) so you know when to stop.

### Rate Limits

All endpoints are rate-limited per IP address. If you exceed a limit, you will receive a `429 Too Many Requests` response with a `Retry-After` header indicating how many seconds to wait.

Response headers on throttled requests:
