# MSC.org - Marine Stewardship Council

> The Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) is an international non-profit organisation.

We recognise and reward efforts to protect oceans and safeguard seafood supplies for the future. Our goal is for the world's oceans to be teeming with life and seafood supplied for this and future generations. In 2030 we aim for 1/3 of global marine catch to be certified or engaged with us.
MSC is run across 22 different countries.
