### What Is the PGA TOUR?
The PGA TOUR co-sanctions tournaments on the PGA TOUR, PGA TOUR Champions, Korn Ferry Tour and PGA TOUR Americas, and administers PGA TOUR Q-School presented by Korn Ferry and PGA TOUR University. The modern-day PGA TOUR was formed in 1968 when a subset of touring professionals broke away from the PGA of America. By showcasing golf's greatest players, we engage, inspire and positively impact our fans, partners and communities worldwide.

## How It Works: Signature Events

Signature Events are limited-field tournaments with increased purses and FedExCup points. Fields are set by the following priority categories:

1. **Top 50** in prior season’s FedExCup standings  
2. **Aon Next 10**: Top 10 in current FedExCup standings (not otherwise exempt)  
3. **Aon Swing 5**: Top 5 FedExCup point earners between Signature Events (not otherwise exempt)  
4. **Current-year tournament winners** (full-points events)  
5. **OWGR top 30** PGA TOUR members through prior event  
6. **Sponsor & host exemptions** (four per event + one for players with ≥ 80 TOUR wins; one host exemption at player-hosted events)

Full-field tournaments cut to the low 65 professionals and ties after 36 holes.

### What happens if a tournament ends in a tie?
A sudden-death playoff begins on a hole chosen by the tournament committee and continues hole-by-hole until one player wins a hole outright.

### Are fans allowed to bring cameras?
Cameras are permitted only during practice rounds. During competition rounds, phones are allowed but must be silenced, and flash photography is prohibited.

### What is the dress code for spectators?
There’s no formal dress code, but golf-appropriate attire is encouraged. Comfortable shoes are highly recommended for walking the course.

### How do weather delays affect play?
If weather suspends play, the round resumes as soon as conditions allow. Completion may be delayed to the next day, but tournaments aim to finish on Sunday whenever possible.
