Daarnaast rijdt hij net als vorig jaar ook in 2024 voor Ferrari in het WEC.

In 2009 debuteerde de Zwitserse Fransman als vervanger bij het team van Renault in de Formule 1, om vanaf 2012 voltijd aan de bak te mogen. Eind 2020 kwam er een einde aan zijn F1-avontuur. Tegenwoordig rijdt hij in de IndyCar.

De Pool vertoonde zijn kunsten voor het team van Williams, al werd het allesbehalve een succesvolle terugkeer. Na één jaar bij Williams verkaste de eenmalig Grand Prix-winnaar naar Alfa Romeo, waar hij drie seizoenen als test- en reservecoureur fungeerde.

De Braziliaan werd drie keer wereldkampioen en gold als de absolute koning in de regen. Zijn tragische dood tijdens de GP van San Marino in 1994 schokte dan ook de hele wereld.

Hij reed in zijn carrière onder anderen voor Benetton, Stewart en Arrows.

Clark stond bij 72 races aan de start. Hiervan won hij er 25 en stond hij 32 op het podium. Hij werd gezien als een van de beste racers van zijn tijdperk.

Hij is één van de zestien coureurs die twee of meer Formule 1-wereldtitels heeft gewonnen.

Hij kwam uit voor het team Williams met Alexander Albon als teamgenoot. In 2024 bleef hij aanvankelijk rijden voor Williams, maar na de GP van Nederland werd hij vervangen door Franco Colapinto.

De Frans-Algerijnse zal in 2025 met het startnummer 6 rijden.

Na het seizoen werd bekendgemaakt dat hij de overstap kon maken naar de Formule 1 voor het team Mercedes, met George Russell als teamgenoot. De Italiaan zal in 2025 met het startnummer 12 rijden.
- [Gabriel Bortoleto](https://racingnews365.nl/formule-1-coureurs/gabriel-bortoleto): Gabriel Bortoleto is een Braziliaanse coureur die in 2024 als McLaren-junior met het team Invicta Racing het Formule 2-kampioenschap won. Dit deed hij in zijn rookiejaar, waarmee hij de aandacht van Formule 1-teams wist te trekken. De Braziliaan verliet het McLaren Junior Team nadat hij een stoeltje bij het Stake F1 Team aangeboden had gekregen. Hierdoor zal Bortoleto in 2025 in de Formule 1 rijden met startnummer 5.

In het dorp Sakhir, nabij hoofdstad Manama, ligt het Bahrain International Circuit.

De F1-race is omgedoopt tot GP van Emilia-Romagna. In 2023 ging de GP niet door wegens hevige regenval.

De Belgische GP van 2025 zal plaatsvinden op zondag 27 juli.

Decor vormde het compleet vernieuwde Circuit van Zandvoort, waarop Max Verstappen op jacht ging naar zijn eerste echte thuiszege. Dat lukte ook, waardoor hij tienduizenden oranje gekleurde fans in extase bracht. Ook in 2022 en 2023 lukte het hem om in eigen land zege te vieren maar in 2024 won Lando Norris. Behaalt de Nederlander in 2025 zijn vierde overwinning op Zandvoort?

Sinds de jaren '70 van de vorige eeuw worden er Formule 1-wedstrijden gehouden in Brazilië. De stad São Paulo is sinds 1990 de vaste gastheer van de Grand Prix met het Interlagos Circuit.

- [Ferrari](https://racingnews365.nl/formule-1-teams/ferrari): In 2024 kwam Ferrari goed uit de verf en kon het strijden om de wereldtitel. Helaas behaalde concurrent McLaren het beste resultaat, maar gaat het team met vol vertrouwen 2025 in. Met de komst van Lewis Hamilton heeft het Italiaanse team een ontzettend sterk rijdersduo, samen met Charles Leclerc.
- [Mercedes](https://racingnews365.nl/formule-1-teams/mercedes): Het Formule 1-team van Mercedes kent een vernieuwede line-up na het vertrek van Lewis Hamilton. Zo vormen dit jaar George Russell en Kimi Antonelli de vaste coureurs van het team. In 2025 gaan de twee heren op jacht naar de negende constructeurstitel voor de Duitse renstal.

Hierdoor presteerden ze consistent sterk en hadden ze een groot deel van het seizoen de snelste auto, waardoor ze het constructeurskampioenschap konden bemachtigen, dat voor het laatst werd gewonnen in 1998. Hoe zal het Papaya-team presteren in 2025?
- [Stake F1 Team](https://racingnews365.nl/formule-1-teams/stake-f1-team): In 2024 kende het Stake F1 Team (voorheen Alfa Romeo) een extreem matig seizoen, waarin slechts vier punten werden gescoord. Dit kwam mede door de focus van het team op seizoen 2026, waarin Audi het stokje overneemt. In 2025 staat het team met twee nieuwe coureurs aan de start: Nico Hülkenberg en Gabriel Bortoleto.
- [Aston Martin](https://racingnews365.nl/formule-1-teams/aston-martin): Aston Martin kende een uitstekend seizoen in 2023, maar kon het momentum niet vasthouden in 2024 en eindigde als 'best of the rest' op de vijfde plaats in het kampioenschap. Met de komst van Adrian Newey en de overstap naar Honda-motoren in 2026 zijn de verwachtingen voor het Britse team de komende jaren hooggespannen. Hoe zal Aston Martin met rijdersduo Fernando Alonso en Lance Stroll dit jaar presteren?
- [Haas](https://racingnews365.nl/formule-1-teams/haas): In 2023 kende Haas een uitermate slecht seizoen en eindigde het als laatste. Hierdoor werd Guenther Steiner vervangen door een nieuwe teambaas, namelijk Ayao Komatsu. Onder de Japanner maakte het team in 2024 geweldige stappen en eindigde het als zevende in het kampioenschap. In 2025 zal Haas deze goede lijn willen doorzetten met het nieuwe rijdersduo Esteban Ocon en Oliver Bearman.
- [Racing Bulls](https://racingnews365.nl/formule-1-teams/racing-bulls): In 2024 gebeurde er veel voor Visa Cash App RB, dat tegenwoordig Racing Bulls als roepnaam heeft gekozen. Na een tijd van onzekerheid over de coureurs is de vaste line-up voor 2025 van Racing Bulls besloten: Liam Lawson en Isack Hadjar zijn de nieuwe coureurs.
- [Williams](https://racingnews365.nl/formule-1-teams/williams): Na een sterk seizoen in 2023, waar het team als zevende eindigde, verliep het seizoen in 2024 zeer moeizaam. De laatste races werd Logan Sargeant door tegenvallende prestaties vervangen door Franco Colapinto. Alle drie de Williams-coureurs hebben een recordbedrag aan schade verreden. Met een teleurstellende negende plek kijkt het team uit naar een beter 2025, waarbij Alexander Albon en Carlos Sainz uitkomen als vaste coureurs voor het team.
- [Renault](https://racingnews365.nl/formule-1-teams/renault): In het vijfde jaar van haar tweede Formule 1-comeback heeft Renault voor het eerst sinds de terugkeer een Fransman achter het stuur van een van haar bolides zitten. Naast routinier en blikvanger Daniel Ricciardo is namelijk Esteban Ocon naar het team gehaald.
- [Racing Point](https://racingnews365.nl/formule-1-teams/racing-point): Het voormalige Force India, dat halverwege 2018 werd omgedoopt tot Racing Point, gaat in 2020 haar tweede volwaardige Formule 1-seizoen in. Het zal tevens ook het laatste seizoen zijn onder deze naam, daar de renstal vanaf 2021 door het leven zal gaan als het fabrieksteam van Aston Martin.

He did this in his rookie year, with which he managed to attract the attention of Formula 1 teams. The Brazilian left the McLaren Junior Team after he had been offered a seat at the Stake F1 Team. Because of this, Bortoleto will drive in Formula 1 in 2025 with starting number 5.
