# Redact

> Redact is a privacy tool that mass-deletes your social media history and opts you out from data brokers. It can bulk-delete posts, comments, messages, likes, and media across Twitter/X, Discord, Reddit, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and 35+ other platforms, with granular filtering by keyword, date range, and content type.

Redact ships as a desktop app (Windows, macOS, Linux) and mobile apps (iOS, Android). Deletion runs locally on your own device using your own logged-in sessions — Redact never asks for or stores your account passwords. The data broker removal feature continuously finds and removes your personal information from people-search and data-broker sites.
