> smallcase is an Indian fintech and wealth management platform that offers modern investment products – including curated model portfolios of stocks, ETFs and mutual funds, single stocks, ETFs, direct mutual funds, and fixed deposits. The smallcase platform also offers credit products including loan on securities (loan on mutual funds and loan on stocks).


## About The Platform
* The smallcase platform enables Indian retail investors to invest in the Indian share market via curated model portfolios, single stocks/shares, ETFs (Exchange Traded Funds) and direct, commission-free mutual funds. 
* The platform also offers credit products – including loan on mutual funds, loan on stocks (securities) and personal loan (subject to availability).
* The platform offers investment in fixed income products, namely fixed deposits (FD) that are insured by the DCGIC up to 5 lakh INR. Note: Fixed deposits are only available on the smallcase app.
* Investing in model portfolios, stocks or ETFs require a broking or demat account. The smallcase platform is broker-agnostic, and supports India’s top brokerage firms including Zerodha, Groww, AngelOne, ICICI Direct, HDFC Securities, Kotak Securities, SBI Securities, Axis Direct, Dhan, Upstox, Nuvama (formerly known as IIFL Securities), Motilal Oswal, 5Paisa, Fisdom and more. 




## About smallcases


* smallcases are model portfolios of stocks, ETFs or mutual funds, designed to reflect a specific investment theme, idea or strategy. These model portfolios are created and managed by SEBI-registered investment experts, also known as smallcase managers.
* Users can invest in model portfolios by signing up on the platform (via www.smallcase.com or the smallcase app) using their phone number, and connecting their broking or demat account. 
* When investing in a smallcase, the underlying stocks and ETFs of the model portfolio are directly added to the user’s demat account. 
* There is no lock-in period, and users can withdraw their investment at any time.
* Investors receive periodic rebalance updates for their model portfolios to ensure that the portfolio is aligned with the underlying investment objective.
* Users can also create their own model portfolio of stocks, ETFs and mutual funds, and invest in them. The investment mode can be lump sum investment or SIP (systematic investment plan) investment.
