# WalletPro

> WalletPro is an offline Garmin wallet for QR codes, barcodes, loyalty and discount cards, Notes, and TOTP/OTP 2FA codes. Additional formats include EAN-8, Codabar, Data Matrix, and PDF417. It can display an employee badge or time-clock card only when it contains an employer-approved static QR or supported barcode. It is not a payment, bank-card, NFC, RFID/NFC badge, or Garmin Pay replacement.

Use this index to find authoritative product facts, setup guidance, compatibility limits, and localized articles. For retailer cards, tickets, and approved workplace cards, WalletPro displays the saved static code; it cannot fetch a replacement when an issuer or employer changes or expires that code. A black-and-white ticket or boarding-pass image may contain Aztec, PDF417, Data Matrix, or another 2D format rather than QR. Decode the original image in a browser site that accepts an uploaded file and explicitly supports the detected format; copy the complete decoded value, choose the same format in WalletPro Settings in Garmin Connect IQ, paste it, and sync. TOTP authenticator codes are generated locally from a saved setup secret. An RFID/NFC badge is a separate physical-chip credential, not a QR code, and cannot be used with WalletPro. A dynamic QR is a changing token that WalletPro cannot refresh or validate; only unchanged static code data is a candidate for watch display and scanning.

WalletPro stores up to 512 characters in a Value or Secret field; a saved value is not necessarily scannable. Values that are too long remain intact and produce a clear diagnostic instead of being silently shortened.

## vCard contact cards

- Choose Contact phone, Contact email, or Contact phone + email for a quick contact QR. WalletPro uses the saved card name as the contact name. For the combined type, separate the phone number and email with a space, comma, or semicolon.
- For organisation, address, note, or other custom contact fields, keep using one complete manual vCard 3.0 record in a QR card. WalletPro preserves the saved input. Consult the length guide for exact QR behavior by device.
