Wan 2.7 is the previous generation and is a different set of four models. Tongyi Wanxiang is Alibaba's own name for the family. - Clips are 2–30 whole seconds at 30 fps, at 480P, 720P or 1080P. **There is no 4K tier and no 21:9 ratio**, and sites ranking for this model list both. Frame rate is 30, not 24; it comes back in the response as `usage.fps`. - Resolution defaults to 1080P when the request does not set it, which is four times the 480P rate. - Wan 3.0 is closed. No published weights, no checkpoint, no ComfyUI node. Alibaba's last open-weight video flagship is Wan 2.2. - There is no shot-count parameter, no "AI Director" mode and no cross-session identity lock. Multi-shot is a prompt format, so the shot count you ask for is a request rather than a contract. - One request takes up to 10 reference images, 5 reference videos (15 s total) and 5 reference audio clips (15 s total), plus either one document (≤50 pages) or one web link. Reference material and first/last frames are **mutually exclusive** — sending both fails before generation. - Sound is generated in the same pass as the picture, and toggling it does not change the price. - Reference **video** seconds are billed at the output rate on top of the output seconds. Reference images, audio, documents and links add nothing. - A `task_id` and a `video_url` each expire 24 hours after the job. A query after that returns `UNKNOWN`, which means expired, not failed. - Alibaba's list price for the model is $0.05, $0.10 and $0.20 per output second at 480P, 720P and 1080P. - Prices on this site: plans $9.90–$79.90 a month billed yearly, or $19.80–$159.80 billed monthly; credit packs $9.90–$79.90 one-time. Credits burn at 8, 16 and 32 per output second at 480P, 720P and 1080P, at the same rate on every plan — a bigger plan buys seconds and queue position, never a better model. - The free tier runs the same `wan3.0-video` model, not a substitute engine: one 3-second 480P clip per account, once, and there is no anonymous generation. - A generation that fails costs nothing here and is refunded without a ticket. - Commercial use is included on every paid plan and every credit pack. Free-tier clips are for evaluation. - wan-3.run is one of several hosted doors into Wan 3.0. It does not speak for Alibaba and does not publish prices on Alibaba's behalf.
